Google Analytics
Vesterålen Aquaculture uses Google Analytics to analyse the use of our websites. We get information about which pages are most visited, where users come from, at which times the pages are most visited, etc.
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics cookies (small text files that the website stores on the user's computer), osm records the bruekers' IP asresse and provides information about the individual user's movements online. Examples of what the statistics give us answers to are; how many people visit different pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites users come from and which browsers are used. None of the cookies allow us to link information about your use of the website to you as an individual. You can manage the use of cookies yourself.
Google may transfer the statistics to third parties if required by law or in cases where third parties process the information on Google's behalf.
Newsletter
Vesterålen Aquaculture sends out newsletters at least once a month by e-mail. In order for us to send e-mail, you must register an e-mail address. Vesterålen Aquaculture is the data processor for the newsletter. Your e-mail address is stored in a separate database, is not shared with others, and is deleted when you cancel your subscription. The e-mail address will also be deleted if we receive feedback that it is not active. The consent to be on this list is valid for three years. After this, we will ask you for a new consent.
Search
Vesterålen Aquaculture stores information about which keywords users use on our websites via Google Analytics. The purpose of the storage is to make our information offering better. The search usage pattern is stored in aggregated form. Only the search term is saved, and they cannot be linked to other information about the users, such as IP addresses.
The Share/Tip Service The "Share with Others" feature can be used to forward links to the Site by email, or to share the content on social communities, such as Facebook or Twitter.
Tips information is not logged with us, but is only used there and then to post the tip to the community. However, we cannot guarantee that the community will not log this information. All such services should therefore be used with wit.
If you use the e-mail function, we will only use the e-mail addresses provided to forward the message without any storage.
Video player
Vesterålen Aquaculture mainly uses the video player service Vimeo on its pages, but it also happens that we use Youtube. Both Vimeo and Youtube collect data when you play a video. The data is used to determine who and how long the videos will be used.
Deleting cookies
You can manage the use of cookies yourself by making changes to settings in your browser. However, please note that this may result in reduced user experience.
